Michelle Obama's speech tonight was amazing. I was honestly moved by it and couldn't take my eyes from the TV. If the goal was to come across as "relatable"...she definitely struck me that way.
And was it any surprise that their little girls are hams? haha

i love watching Michelle speak. she takes the time to look people in the eye and she speaks with such passion and conviction it feels less like a speech and more like a conversation. it feels heartfelt and real.
and then when she teared up talking about bringing her daughter home from the hospital, i think that was just an honest response to immense amount of responsibility parents have for the well being of their children.
i love that she is a strong woman. that she is tall. that she let's her daughter take the microphone. i like that Barrack told her she "looked pretty". :)
She had a different approach to her speech than most political type people. I really enjoyed it. And the interaction between her and Barack was cool. Like when he said, "can you see why I asked her out over and over?"
